There was a dumb question here…and I deleted it.

None whatsoever.

According to Wikipeida, they do have 36 Undergrads. I wonder what that's about.

Summer Research Programs
UCSF: Graduate Division Undergraduate Summer Research Training Program

This ten-week program encourages college students to pursue Ph.D. degrees and academic research careers. The approximately forty participants work closely with faculty mentors and conduct research projects in the social and basic sciences. In addition, they attend a weekly science seminar at which they present and discuss their research projects and hearpresentations from UCSF faculty members, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students. Students prepare an abstract as well as oral and poster presentations of their research.

Gspsiliconvalley may have accounted for some of the UCSF undergrads.

I would also point out that it's not entirely true that UCSF never had an undergraduate program - until recently they did have a very small BS program in Dental Hygiene run by the Dental School. It's now closed to new students, but may still be serving current students who were grandfathered in.
