Ahhh MacTech!! I have Stewart's calculus too. His explanations SUCK. I think i'll pick up calculus for dummies.

do a couple of problems every day. NEVER sleep too late the night before exams. try to see ur teacher (that should be fine, right) and keep on asking any doubts u have about free body diagrams until u understand the whole thing.

it really depends on the circumstances to really know if you are a failure. Sometimes the teacher is bad at explaining concepts and doesn't focus enough attention on the students. Anyways, i think that everyone has a strong suit and a not so strong suit, maybe physics isn't your forte. For example my weakness has always been foreign languages (spanish), i'm not a failure at it, but i never got an A. Everyone is different, so don't worry about being behind in college.

What you can do is look at some review books, like previous posters have suggested. Maybe a tutor. Usually re reading the textbook a few times and looking at examples is good enough for me. Memorization isn't enough, you have to integrate it into your head, know the concepts.

Talk to your teacher too, doesn't matter if he'll ridicule you because thats just highschool, when your in college it will absolutely small stuff.
