Hey guys! So Northeastern is high on my list, but would I have a shot of getting a good scholarship offer and/or getting in the honors college with my current application?

Northeastern seems to be a popular place for students from my high school. An admissions rep just came by this week.

You’re definitely going to get in, but I’m not sure about the honors college. If you compare your stats to the admissions stats, yours aren’t much better than the average accepted students- plus you don’t know for sure what you got on your SAT II test. They only invite the top 10% of accepted applicants into the HC pool.

And if you don’t get into the Honors program, you can always try to transfer into it later. I remember my tour guide said he got in Sophomore year or something.

Thanks, yeah I now realize how difficult it is to get into the Honors College. I commend all those who have made it and those who will, though!

Is it possible for me to get a scholarship?

Got a 770 on Math II, not an 800, but still somewhat respectable.
