I'm visiting!

I’m a junior and I’m going to be visiting Columbia/Barnard in November, on a Thursday. I’ll be sitting in one (or more) of my uncle’s classes, who teaches computer science (he’s been talking about his AI class recently) at Columbia. For after that’s all good and finished, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should look around on campus? I’m not sure of my uncle’s knowledge of the Barnard side of Broadway, and a second (or more) opinion would be nice.

Plan on having lunch in the Cafeteria (downstairs) at Barnard. Introduce yourself to several students and ask them to tell you about their experiences at the school.

Make sure you don't get "Cafeteria" confused with McIntosh (that's where you should go) - it's the "hub" of student life. It's the building that houses student organization offices, Java City (our Starbucks-esque coffee stop) and Lower Level McIntosh, which is probably Barnard's best on campus food.

QT, yes, that's what I meant--didn't know the name for it-

Okay, I'll be sure to check that out. <3 Thanks.
