of admissions will he read it?

Thanks

Unlikely. The people in charge of admissions may. Better write it directly to them.

They explicitly stated that they don't want you to send anything though.

I wonder how they weed the waitlist then if they do not wish for you to send anything to the University, I<3Pi? Where'd they say that anyway?

"We respectfully ask that you not submit any additional letters of recommendation from your counselor, teachers, alumni, friends, etc. We also respectfully ask that you not submit any additional materials such as writing samples, creative/performing arts credentials, photos, research papers, certificates, etc."

BUT THAT DOESN"T INCLUDE LETTERS OF INTENT!!!! /end capslock

"You will have the opportunity on the Waitlist Response to provide brief updates to your application. Beyond that, there is nothing you can do to improve your chances of being admitted from the waitlist."

Interpret their letter however you will, and do whatever you want at your own expense.

Yeah I'm sending a letter to all my waitlisted schools except Stanford. I don't think it's wise to be sending stuff in if the school tells you not to...
