<p>I am a transfer applicant. I submitted the app and supplement long before the deadline, which was March 1st. Some of the materials did not make it in on time or, maybe, made it in on time but were not processed because the admission office was busy with freshman applications. On the website, it says that I should have received a login name and password to check the status of my application but I never did. When I called, I was told that they give those out “after the deadline,” which, again, was March 1st. It’s past the deadline and I still haven’t received any contact from Brown apart from recognition, via e-mail, that they’ve received my application update. Does anyone know anything about the login and password process and the relative amount of time it takes for them to send the e-mail containing the login and password? I don’t want to bother the admission office, who is already busy with applications, by continually calling them to check my app status but I don’t want to find out that they did not even consider me as an applicant because some material did not make it in.</p>
<p>I suggest you call them after Monday if you dont receive the login credentials by then</p>
<p>Even though I was a freshman applicant, I didn’t get my login credentials until probably 10 days after I submitted. You don’t need to be worrying yet.</p>
<p>@cashew: I submitted my application more than a month ago. But, if you mean that, since they give them out after the deadline, that I should wait ten-ish days after the deadline, till March 10th, then yea I will probably do that, or at least wait till Monday and call.</p>

<p>I’d wait until 10 days after the March 1st deadline. They’re really busy with first-year applications right now.</p>
<p>I applied early decision this year and submitted my application in before the deadline and still didn’t get login info for a good two to three weeks after the deadline. They still got everything and procesed it fine. So I wouldn’t worry too much.</p>
<p>Just chiming in to agree --took a good 3 weeks to get login info. emails (you should receive two, one right after the other). I know it’s hard not to worry after you hit submit, but most likely they are going through loads of applications all submitted right at the dealine and backlogged.</p>
<p>I’m worried because it’s 8 days AFTER the deadline and I still haven’t received anything. I wish they would send an update e-mail to everyone saying “everything is ok, just be patient” so we know they have at least heard of us. I don’t have a lot of money to spend either so to realize down the road that it’s already too late to resend in material that somehow didn’t already make it and that I’m not going to be considered as an applicant even though I paid the fee would be extremely disappointing!</p>
<p>I just called them and was told they haven’t sent out info for transfers yet. I can’t remember if she gave me a specific time that they would. If she did, in my mind it’s 2 weeks from now, but she may not have. ( it was like 3 in the am my time. Stop judging me

<p>I just got the email from Brown, if anyone still hasn’t and is freaking out.</p>
<p>Just got mine too, the Brown website states that the email will be sent out this week.</p>
