I'm worried that I'm not going to get in to college- chance me please?

Ok so for some reason I have this fear that I'm not getting into college... I guess it's all the horror stories, but I'm still super worried even though I am a good student. I'm a junior right now but I'd like some idea that I can possibly get in somewhere, so chance me please for these schools: University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, James Madison University, University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Vassar, MIT. Also, do you know of any other schools I might be a good fit for (I live in Virginia)? Thanks!

I'm not that great at the standardized test :( but I plan on studying a lot and am realistically aiming for 2100.

EC's:
2011- present: I have volunteered at a therapeutic riding center since 7th grade, I go 3-4 days a week, each for 3 hours. I have risen to a leadership position at the program and am now an Assistant Instructor/Mentor. By the time I finish high school I should have 5000+ hours at this program. I know I could write a good essay because the program has basically been my life for the best 4+ years.

Summer 2014: Bioinformatics internship at George Mason University through the ASSIP program. Only 60 students out of 700 applicants got in, we all conducted our own research projects and I might do this again next year.

I just joined math honor society, and hope to continue it through senior year.

I’d work a little harder at ECs. Are you in any clubs at school?

@moonboots Well I just joined the math honor society but I literally spend every afternoon volunteering at the therapeutic riding center… I feel like that’s more important than a bunch of school clubs.

You will certainly get into a four-year college, unless you screw up spectacularly within the next 18 months. It is up to you to formulate a realistic, balanced list to ensure that you have some attractive options. It’s difficult for anyone to make meaningful suggestions until you have test scores and junior grades to work from.
