I'm worried that my Yale interview didn't go so well...

I recently had my Yale interview, and though I was polite and friendly, I don't think that I was as confident of a presence as I could have been. I had trouble conveying what I was passionate about and why I was so interested in Yale... My question is, will this really detract from my application, etc. Obviously there's not much that I can do, but it's really bothering me right now, and I would just like to know.

Thank you!

Your application >>>>>>> interview. Now, go enjoy life. :)

my husband interviews kids for carnegie mellon as an alumni duty…and in all the years he’s been recommending kids, maybe 2 have actually made it in…conversely, 3 that he didn’t recommend did make it in. You’re fine.

Thank you so much! I tend to beat myself up for these sorts of things…, so that’s a relief :)

I had the same prob.
I couldnt explain Why Yale

Your interview can hurt you if you behave like a complete jerk… and I mean something pretty egregious, like not bothering to show up, or being incredibly rude It may be considered more heavily than usual if your recommendations don’t supply any useful information, but this is uncommon. Otherwise, it’s more of a PR session for both you and the alum. You have enough stress this year… don’t waste time worrying about this.
