Images of O-Week

straight from the website:

2009 Rice O-Week Photos

2009? Says 2010 …

thats 2010 for sure. probably wrong name on the link

Oh - I loved watching the slide show! Didn’t spot DS helping students move in, but got to see some of what goes on at the first night ceremony. I hope they are having a great O-Week! :)

Oh my it looks so nice :)

Thank you for sharing this link. For those of us who have just become empty nesters, it is especially nice to see these pictures. Will the link be up-dated through out the week?

i believe so. Each college also has a photographer normally (a student who takes pictures) so you should be able to get a lot of college specific pics from your son/daughter

We actually saw our son in one of the pics after we got home from Houston. What a thrill!

Some more pictures

I need to get off this site; it makes me miss O-Week too much.

Very cool with the fireworks

Oh, they are having a great O-Week! My O-Week advisor son touched base with me a few times already. He is just having a ball with his freshmen. He loves matriculation and scavenger hunt as much as when he was a freshman. The slide show and youtube video are so great. I know I’ll still be scouring for O-Week photos in hopes of spotting him.

Any new places to see photos or videos. The one photo with our son, he was smiling widely, which made us feel happy.

Proudparent, Antarius mentioned that each residential college likely has an assigned photographer … why not e-mail your son’s college coordinator or his college masters and ask if they have any photos. (Of course, this is a pretty busy time for them, making sure everyone’s settling in smoothly, etc.)

Meanwhile, there’s yet another solution … while I’m typing this message, I’m inches away from a photo of my son at age three – smiling away! Same fellow – just 17 years younger. And there’s another one where he’s hard at work in the sandbox. And some more recent shots where he’s wearing his favorite red tie…

Have you raided your scrapbooks, photo files recently? They really don’t change that much – or is it just my imagination?

I meant to write proudparents … and there are a lots of them around here!

colleges websites have stuff as well (sometimes)
