imma sleep cuz i'm 2 scared 2 look at UCSD decision

i really hope i get in ucb and ucsd

i really hope i get in there too...i would cry too if i ddin't get in but not for the same reasons as you all at least.

yeah but im just saying dont freak out and wherever u go try to get good grades b/c a lot of times the person w/ better grades in college gets to go to grad school

any idea where ur leaning to uclippers05?

UC schoolwise or UCSD collegewise? Revelle is the best for science I hate the 6 college system that UCSD has. I got some brochure awhile ago from UCSD w/ descriptions of the college and the broc. just sucked go to Revelle if u can

i like warren personally, but my second was revelle.

and before i was talking school wise, but i think from everything i've read your leaning towards ucsd am i right?

well i like UCI its pretty chill campus is nice, cool people good school. I was rejected from UCLA but im cool w/ that. UCSD is a good academic school, but I hate the 6 college system and that UCSD is kinda a liberal school. I have read so far and heard that UCSD is not much of a fun place and probably cost of living is higher than Irvine. So I'm 50/50 between UCSD and UCI I still have to visit UCSD.

as far as cost of living their both gonna be about the same

i got rejected from ucla too, but i knew that was gonna happen. UCI is nice, and it is true what you said about the social life...it blows. But its not like you wont make friends, its just really competitive. imagine a bunch of nerds at knowledge bowl the size of a large town

SD is gonna be a little higher

i wonder if they will ever have a new reality show about the college applications and what all the reviewers do. that would be one interesting movie.

The thing is in san diego theres like 7 jc's and other colleges. im sure that u can find social life outside of the one ucsd college. i have two friends that are gonna be soph at usd next year and another friend goin to sdsu so im gonna have the hookups for like every school in sd haha

they are really close to each other...just go chill at sdsu. thats probably what happens to the uber smart popular folks who go there

oh yah heres a nice little fun fact....i dunno about ur schools but it seems that by our senior year the whole "popularity" thing was just shot to ****. I am in a senior class of 100 (small school) and literally everyone chills with everyone else. I mean there are a few ppl who arent down with like getting high and drunk but they dont like condemn you for it. its really interesting being popular used to be this big deal back in jr high now its nothing. but back to ucsd.......

hmm, my schools not like that

thats unfortunate....

i go to a public school with a graduating class of a thousand...its just not possible for everyone to party under teh same roof (literally). So here teh popularity thing still exists here, now back to the regularly scheduled progam, "i'm still b1tching about ucsd's acceptance notices no coming out now."

random, it's funny you mentioned that. a few months ago when i was surfing fastweb, there was a post about auditioning for a new reality show by ABC about college freshmen. i printed out an application just for the heck of it and i think the show's called "the scholar". i'm not positive about the title, but the application... hoo it was long.

so that's one show catering to the interests of the high school demographic. hopefully, some other executives will realize that there's an interest in seeing a reality show about college applications. but i wonder.. would colleges really be willing to reveal exactly how they process their applications?

i wish they would. ha... i know stanford, harvard, princeton, all of them baller status college applicants would love to know. but that's for a different thread.

i seriously think UCSD's punishing us for bugging them so much. we wouldn't have to if they just posted their crap earlier! gosh..

if they dont come out within 24 hours im gonna tip something over

yah i know the wait is killing me more then rejection!
