I just checked my status and it said that I have applied to not only the schulich school of music BUUUT also the faculty of arts and sciences...AHH1 I don't remember applying to arts/sceinces, and i don't want to be considered for the faculty either! Is there any way to rescind that applicatio nand still keep my application to the music scool? Thanks! I sent an email to mcgill and they still haven't responded after 6 days but time is passing...and deceisions are being posted!

There is a link at the bottom of your application information (on Minerva) where you can cancel it. Why would you want to, though? It won't hurt you if you leave your Arts & Sciences application in the pool...

Yea, what honied_dreams said is true... but i've heard twice on these forums that it's not recommended to email them at this time of year. Calling would be a better and faster way to get things done.

I don't want to keep faculty of arts and sciences b/c my standardized test scorse aren't good enough :( for instance, i got a 25 on the ACT and an 1860 on the SAT...plus, my subject scores are 510/510/540...not going to get me in...since they dont meet minimum req's.

They review each faculty app seperately.

You'll get into the music school and refused from A&S. No harm, no foul.

there is absolutely no harm in leaving the application. but if you dont want it, call admissions

because then i'd have to take general education classes on top of a full music schedule..it'd never work!

you only have to enroll in one faculty.... right? so you can be ACCEPTED to arts/sciences and only enroll in the music program

Exactly. Nothing would happen if you were accepted to both programs--you would just say you were attending the music school. It's probably better to leave it alone.

oh. lol, thanks for the input!
