Immediate Decision Schools

I have heard of some schools having days where if you go and visit the school and hand them your application they will give you an immediate decision (or a quick one within a week). This happens on specific days usually.

Examples: Bard (in NY) and Penn State (I think)

What are some other schools like this?

Really?

I’d like to see a list of these.

I know one is Longwood University in VA.

U Arkansas has “Ready Razorback” weekend which is what I think you mean. It’s on a Saturday usually (I think) and people get their admissions decision that day.

I’m pretty sure that’s not true about Penn State. (Unless you want to go to a sattelite campus, maybe)

The University of West Florida does this. At least, it did several times while visiting my school. All they wanted was a transcript, I believe.

[Immediate Decision Plan | Bard](http://www.bard.edu/admission/applying/idp.shtml)

What is this, the Franklin Mint plan?

I don’t know if this is what you’re talking about, but it only took about 2 weeks after I applied to hear of my acceptance from Indiana University, Bloomington.

^ That would be rolling admissions. Immediate Decision is when you visit the campus or otherwise meet with adcom in person and they make an immediate decision on your application, results to be returned that same day or in the mail a few days later.
