^ Southern California does not count. No offense to yourself but Southern California seems to have a higher percentage of “mostly decorative” slags in the US… PS to anyone who disagrees I have three words for you “Calabasas High School”

" I for one don’t take compliments well, so jeans are a go."

You don’t take compliments well? So if someone told you that you looked pretty, you’d take offense to that? Or do you mean you just don’t know what to reply?

^The second one. I have the same problem, with different adjectives in the place of “pretty.” (Generally, no one calls males, pretty…) After a mumbled thanks, I’m just awkwardly silent. I reacted much more normally to being insulted.

^^No, of course I wouldn’t take offense! I just don’t know what to say other than a “thanks, lol” so it’s awkward-- being complimented is just awkward for me, period.

When we say which looks better, we also have to consider the type of jeans. Loosy goosy jeans are not very hot lol.

Am I the only one who thinks girls DON’T look good in sweatpants? For the record, I would never wear sweat pants in public. They look horrible (on males and females). Honestly, take some pride in yourself and at least put on a pair of jeans or something.

*Yes, I understand there are times when sweatpants are convenient and practical (dance class, going to they gym). But please keep the wearing of sweatpants limited to these times only. Sweatpants are the downfall of society. :D

^^lol at “loosy goosy jeans”.

Anyways summer dresses = <3 . Actually any dress can make a girl look gorgeous, without having to try hard at all. My favorite type of dresses are definitely cocktail. i love their sophistication. Summer dresses are meh, since you always need to find some cutesy accessory to make them look great, and I don’t really like the brightnes of their colors. I prefer shades of gray, black, or navy with some random source of of vibrant color. Those are typically more suitable for winter though.
And I adore jeans as well. They’re just more of a safe pick. Since everyone looks good in jeans. Whereas, with dresses you actually need to make sure everything looks right together, or risk looking bland.

Ideally, I’d wear dresses everyday. They just make you feel so girly and feminine. (One of the few advantages of being a girl :p)

Oh and I agree about that compliment thing. I HATE it when someone compliments me randomly. Not only is it awkward, but I feel as if they probably want something from me. (Like once in 5th grade, this girl complimented my shirt and ten asked me for a piece of my brownie :/) Now, it’s typically for academic purposes. Ah well.

And sweatpants are the most disgusting things ever. I find jeans more comfortable than sweatpants. They make you look gross and frumpy. It’s like you have no pride. I only wear them at home, when I pretend I’m fat.

^^ they dont make a girl look hot, but they dont make her look unattractive either. It’s like a meh day–you gotta let girls have those kids of day, guys have them all the time. On the other hand, guys can pull of sweatpants much easier than girls. Athletic pants (not sure if they are different than sweatpants in your definition) are very comfortable and I wear them at least 2 times a week.

I don’t understand the negative sentiment towards sweatpants:(. I mean the sweatpants I have look better than some of my jeans with ugly intentionally sold with rips and gashes. Honestly the only difference between my jeans and sweatpants is the fact that sweapants are normally cotton and spandex instead of denim.

^ If a girl wears just black spandex THATS a different issue alltogether lol = p

I would wholeheartedly endorse the spandex-only look!

Oh, for sure. When girls do it at my school, it is well, attractive… but it can also look slutty = /.

What I see in my huge public school is girls trying to go the most revealing route possible while still abiding to the school dress code.
To me, it doesn’t matter what the girl wears, as long as it isn’t offensive/super-revealing/slutty. I use a girl’s face to judge attractiveness more than the dress anyway.

i like when they wear summer dresses. you can possibly see some clevage.

idk about you guys, but i LOVE it when girls wear a hoodie with short shorts. for some reason i just find it sexy

Hunnnhhhhhhh??? Girls don’t just wear spandex. Maybe you guys are referring to leggings? They are like tights with the bottoms snipped off?

Perhaps they are solely stating that they would find that preferable.

^Yes. Although, leggings are hot, too.

hahaha ^^^ yes leggings. My bad = p.

And a hoodie with short shorts? I’m with you on the short short shorts but idk about the hoodie.

@ Geek, it definetly goes face –> legs/ass –> THEN upper area lol.

@ Balt, guess we werent on the same page lol.

It’s actually face > legs > boobs > ass.

Leggings are NOT hot to guys - The more chance there is to see something, the more hot it is to us. Hate to break it to you girls, but the only reason us guys like cocktail dresses is because there could potentially/easily be something to see, either “up north” or “down south”.
