Hello CC,
I'm going to apply to a buncha schools, and I haven't visited any of them. I am financially capable of doing so, but I don't really have that much time left to visit. I think that I would be able to visit in late January (after I submit applications). Will my visits be acknowledged by admissions offices, or will it be too late? Is it even worth my time to visit at all?

Foodliker - Even though most students do it the other way around, no reason to not do it your way!
re: visits ack by admit office - If you are interested in LACs or WUSTL, then maybe visits mean an expression of interest. If you’re thinking Large State School, then no, not so much.

re: Plan to visit after app: - I say why not? My D re-visited her top 2 choices after being acccepted, and I am sure that she is not the only applicant to do so.

The bottom line is that you should spend some time researching and visiting before committing to a place where you plan to spend your next 4 years. You do have some time - but not a lot of it - so research, plan and visit. You owe it to yourself.

good luck.
