impact of interview?

i still haven't received my decision and i'm so anxious, it's killing me.
does anyone know how much of an impact interviews make on your decision?
personally, i think my interview went very well, but my stats fall short of most georgetown applicants'. my act score lies in the low 30s and, although my weighted gpa/class rank is decent (top 10-11%), my unweighted gpa/class rank is horrible (30-33%) do you think i'll make it?

I got accepted into Georgetown and I got a 27 on my ACT. But then again, I ranked 4th in my class and I’m black. What I can say: Georgetown doesn’t admit students subjectively, their admissions process is actually quite holistic. Check out this article:

Under “deliberation process”. While this article is a few years old, I still see it as a reassuring point of reference in how Georgetown selects who to accept.

Good Luck!

" . . . does anyone know how much of an impact interviews make on your decision?"

Yes - I do. My D’12 did not get an interview (she wasn’t too happy). She called and e-mailed and they kept saying she would get one. In the end, they said it was too late. she would not get an interview, “but not to worry because having no interview would not affect the Adcomm’s evaluation.”

I did not believe it.

Turns out, they were right. I was wrong. DD got in.

my interview was pretty bad but i still got in. i was honest about why i liked georgetown but my interviewer kept pushing me to answer what made the school different from other schools i was applying to and i wasn’t sure how to answer that except for a generic “georgetown has a great foreign language program”
