There is one teacher at my school that almost never gives out an A. I have one B+ because of her on my transcript but I’m also number one in a class of 300. I am applying to an Ivy League School and I’m wondering how much one B+ will affect my acceptance.
No point in applying. Nada. The Ivies put all applications in two piles, ones with zero grades below a 90% and ones with grades that are downright horrendous. When they feel charitable, they pick one or two from the lower class pile.
In all seriousness though, I think you know the answer.

Getting a B isnt the end of the world! even when it taints the straight A’s. I got one my sophomore year and it was liberating honestly. You will be fine.
