do any of you guys know about the impact of pre-law frats? do they somehow help you get into law school? any impact on job placements? what advantages do they have?

I wouldn't join any frat that would have me as a member.

Joining a pre law frat would give you the same advantages (to the extent there are any) that joining any other fraternity would provide. Joining will not help you get into law school. Job placement depends on the number of lawyers who once were or currently are members. If associating with people sharing a particular interest motivates you to be a better student, then joining is a good idea. If joining means you will be distracted from your studies, then joining is a bad idea.

greybeard... i instantly thought of annie hall at that statement, but then woody allen was quoting a marx brother, correct?

Groucho.

No, I don't think a pre-law frat would help much, except for advice and camraderie.
