Impact of regents grades on college admissions

Hi I have a 95 Regents average but got an 86 on my English Regents twice and both takes will appear on my hs transcript. I want to apply to Cornell, Macauley @CCNY, Stonybrook, BU, and Princeton. I am ranked number 2 in my grade and will be applying with a weighted avg greater than 101.12. I received 4s on all of my 3 ap exams (BIo, APUSH, and WHAP). For Regents grades, I got a 97 Integrated ALgebra, 96 Geometry, 98 ALG2/Trig, 96 Global History and GEography, 99 on US History and GOvt, 95 Living Environment, 98 Chem, 91 Physics, and 94 on my Spanish Local Exam (There isn’t a Regents in Spanish). Will the double 86 on my English hurt my admissions into Princeton and Cornell, SB, or Macaulay, or significantly hurt my odds of getting a trustee scholarship at bu?
Thanks

Don’t worry about regents. They’re not a very important part of your application, especially when you compare it to SATs and ACTs (for tests) and essays. I had an 88 for my Spanish LOTE and English Regents and I was still accepted to Cornell and Macaulay. Your other regents grades are great and you’re doing incredibly well. An 86 will not be the deciding factor, there are many other things admission officers will look at. Just make sure the other parts of your application is good and don’t slack off senior year.
