So I just saw my scores online for the Subject Tests I took at the beginning of this month. It is the first (and I thought the last) time I have taken them, but upon seeing what I got, I'm not sure whether it is worth it to try and get in for the December tests (the last one I can do because applications are all due the beginning of January)

I got a 640 on Physics and a 730 on Math II. Physics, I was almost surprised by; I'm in my second year of physics right now as a senior, and the test dealt with things I'd never even heard of, let alone could apply dozens of formulas and models to. So I'm fairly happy with Physics, even though it might not be as competitive as I'd like, point being there is no way I can improve a 640 within 2 weeks.

Now for the Math II....I'm generally a strong math student, but I did 0 studying for the test and a few things I just haven't used in forever (AP BC Calc student this year) tripped me up.

In short, is it worth retaking Math II? Also, how bad is my Physics score?

I'm not looking for any sugarcoated, optimistic reassurance. Out of my all stats, these tests are the worst of just about everything considered. I'm planning to apply to Carnegie Mellon (top choice) and Cornell, the only to schools that require the Subject Tests. How are these scores for those schools, and how much are they going to affect me ultimately?

Thanks in advance for any help.
