Can anyone answer a question with regards to how important the choice of undergraduate school is to MBA admissions. My D is deciding between UMD-CP and Brandeis for undergrad. She will want to apply to top 25 business schools a few years after graduation. Will going to Brandeis over UMD help at all? No difference? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Superior academic achievement, GMAT scores and superior work experience will trump any "name" in much of MBA admissions.

Have her choose a school where she feels she'll excel.

Of those two, I doubt it will matter much. I would definitely NOT make a decision based on that criteria. Her interests may change radically in the next 6-10 years. :-)
