Importance of ACT writing?

<p>I took the February ACT and I got a 33 on the Composite. Here were my subscores:</p>

<p>Math- 32
English- 32
Reading- 34
Science- 35</p>

<p>But I got a 6 on the essay for too few specific examples.</p>

<p>Is the ACT writing important to colleges? Do I have to submit my writing score?</p>
