How important is class rank?
Currently I am ranked 1st in my class(class of 2007), however, I am planning on taking a class at college(University of Minnesota) next year. The issue is that, my school does not weigh PSEO classes, while it does weigh AP classes. So I would have a higher class rank were I to take AP statistics rather than number theory or linear algebra that I’d take at the U. My school is relatively competitive, and not taking the max number of ap classes possible will probably drop my class rank several ranks next year.
should i go with PSEO?

Do what you love. Nothing else matters.

Well, I figure I'd have a better chance of doing what I love at a good school(like MIT). Ultimately, how will this affect my chances towards admission to a school like MIT in 1.5 years?

Being 1st or 2nd or even 10th may not matter much to MIT. Progressing and taking a college course outside of school shows more dedication then being first in class. Class rank matters very little to most schools. Being in the top 10% will be just fine.

Same Situation..
low class rank

Unweighted GPA = 3.3
Weighted GPA = 4.2

Do I have chance at MIT?

SAT = 1360

Several Fs and Ds.. but otherwise im good

And Im really good at flash..

will this cartoon get me in into MIT??

if i want to be either Bio or Computer Science major

also, is Montgomery College - Rockville a good school for computer science??

stop with the flash
