I'm a freshmen (first-year) in Wellesley College right now, and I don't know if I'll get an A in CHEM120 - Intensive general chem. If i do end up with a B, will that hurt my chances of getting into harvard med school just because general chem is one of the requirements? i wish i took regular chem, because i dont actually have the prerequisites for intensive chem (5 on AP - i never took AP chem in highschool... i took chem sophmore year), but now it's too late to cry. I'm still working at it, I might get an A-, but that's still 3.67, and not 4.0

Uh, the avg. GPA of students accepted to Harvard Med is around 3.8.

Even if you get a A- in in the class, your semester GPA could still be around 3.9 (assuming you took a sizable course load).

so as long as my GPA by junior year is 3.8+, then I'll be fine?

Also keep in mind, Harvard rejects around 95% of applicants so you'll want your GPA to be as high as possible. But, yes, a 3.8 GPA is fine (average) for Harvard.
