i may get a D! in algebra this quarter i have a plusses, As, and one b in my other classes. Also, i have gotten all as and bs in math prior to this year. If i do get a d is that an instant rejection? i know they also look at personality and everything, but im talking strictly grades, what is theri importance

You should be talking to your algebra teacher about how you can bring up this grade. Tell the teacher you are planning to apply to BS and ask if there is an extra credit project you can do now to help your grade for this marking period!

Get a tutor now. There is probably a high school student who will be willing to help you. Our town has a community service requirement and tutoring middle school students counts for credit. If money is not an issue, you may be able to hire a high school math teacher or aide to tutor you.

What grade are you in?

I'm sorry but I went to andover, exeter, and st,paul interviews and asked them how important the grades are there and they say about 60% grades.....They looks for at least B+ and up (especially in main subjects like algebra) a D is close to failing it might be too low....also exeter and andover expect good grades in especially math and science
