Hello all I am a prospective transfer student applying to Cornell University specifically the college of engineering. As regards to the midterm report, I have been going around to professors to get them to sign the Midterm Report Required by the common application; however, one thing is worrying me. Most of my grades are A’s/A+'s but in one of my classes the professor only took our only exam score and used that to measure our performance without taking into account our homework grades or any other grades such as quizzes, attendance. So as a result of that my grade was not that great (C/D)
So is this a bad thing for me?
Will this be something that may raise red flags in terms of when the Admissions Committee looks at my application as a whole?
(I have been doing well at my current institution, so I am worried that this may cause me to get rejected or be an area of concern)
