If You Did Really Bad On The Psat Can It Be Held Against You? Will Colleges Even Look At It?

they will never see it, so no, it means nothing, except as a chance for you to take an actual timed test to see where you are relative to the SAT.....

The psat is basically a practice sat test. Colleges wont see it unless you do amazingly well and gain national merit or something. If you don't do that well, dont worry about. Worry about the SAT

Ditto to what everyone else has said. They only way that colleges will know about your PSAT score is if you are National Merit/Achievement/Hispanic Scholar or if your school puts PSAT scores on your transcript. In the latter case, it will still probably be ignored or given a cursory glance to see if you have a progressive improvement of scores (i.e. future SAT score better than PSAT score)

It will affect the quality of college mail you get...the higher you score the more mail you will get and the more prestigious the schools you recieve them from will be... In the long run however, colleges could care less.
