I got an 800 on the US history subject test, but a 690 on the math 2....assuming my other stuff (GPA/ ACT/SAT1/ECs/Essays) is all really solid, will this 690 in math 2 hurt me? I have heard that you really want a 750+ if you plan on applying to top tier schools..which I do. I just don't want to waste my time retaking it if my current score won't hurt me. Any advice???
Thanks!!!!!!!

sat 2s are lame.

I will say this, though, I know a kid who got into Yale and took 5 sat2s (all 800s)…
So it obviously helps. If you have the “other stuff” though, I’m sure it can override it.
