i have a polished short film that i made for film class which i plan to add to my supplementary application, and personally i think its quite good
my basic question was, does the supplementary application help at all in the college admissions process if your work is high quality?
i can also play piano and do other stuff for the supplementary application, but i won't kill myself over it if its meaningless

bumpy bump

Supplementary arts application material
can be very helpful for gaining admittance to
certain schools and programs.

Stanford in particular loves to receive
supplementary information that
follows their strict guidelines. They
also act favorably when receiving
high quality submissions. The same
seems true for Princeton.

I am not sure MIT, Duke or Harvard care much
about your submission other than to note that
it adds a dimension to you.

Submitting supplementary material (even non-world class)
seems to be favorable.

thanks for the input
too bad i’m not applying to stanford
i guess i just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope i win some award for my movie

I think you should submit it if it’s going to be a plus to your app regardless if you think they care or not.
