Importance of Transcripts?

So most people generally know that Chinese transcripts are often tampered with by agencies and wildly inaccurate. My school (among the top schools in China) sends out completely unmodified transcripts with raw scores. Our tests are often more difficult, so I would be at a disadvantage compared to students from other schools.

Even assuming that the regional AO knows enough to distinguish between schools, my grades appear to be erratic because, simply put, the difficulty of end-of-term tests vary. For example, my math grades go from 87 to 100. One semester we had a math final that 20% of the grade failed. My final math grade for that semester is 87. In another semester, the test was easy and I scored 100. Would the AO interpret this as a bad trend/bad grades?

How much weight do colleges (especially the top tiers ones) place on these transcripts?

Thank you!

sadly a lot. And blame those agencies if you will.
