Important AP Credit Question

Hey guys, I understand that there have been several threads referring to the amount of credit NYU will give in terms of AP classes. I, however, am unable to understand exactly how my AP Class credits will be rewarded, and what I will be able to skip out of, how many credits I will receive, and what the entire "MAP Requirements" thing means. I have enrolled at NYU College of Arts and Sciences, and the following are my AP Class Scores (some are predictions):
Calc AB: 5
USH: 5
Bio: 5
Chem:4
Stat: 4
Psych: 5
English Lit: 4

I will be a Biology major/premed, however I plan to use as many credits as I am able to, even if NYU advises not to (I do not mind taking the placements tests when necessary). So can someone by any chance please give me an idea of how my courses will be affected due to these ap credits, and what credit I will exactly receive and I guess how many semesters I will be able to 'skip' (I am trying to save money by graduating early if possible).

bump..10chr

anyone have an idea?

xindianx, if I were you, I'd take NYU's academic advice - I'm a chemistry/pre-med student so our situations are kinda similar, and they haven't led me astray. I do know kids who went straight from AP Bio into Molec. Cell, and it wasn't easy for them. You obviously have the chops to succeed, so if I were you, I'd take Principles of Bio (maybe the Honors section) and get an A in that class to start my science GPA at 4.0.

Since you're a pre-med student, I do not advise you to try graduating early - I was told by Pre-med Advising that this is not a good idea. In fact, your biology major, pre-med, and MAP requirements may very well end up requiring 8 full semesters to complete (this is true for me). I guess you might be able to shorten your time in college by taking some of the courses over the summer, but that wouldn't save you any money.
