does it matter if you are a national AP scholar as a junior or as a senior? because i could try to take the extra AP independently (like macroeconomics) but i already have 4 to deal with including PHYS C without ne prior physics foundation =/
IMPORTANT: IF YOU BECOME A NATIONAL AP SCHOLAR AFTER TAKING COURSES AS A SENIOR, IT DOESN'T MATTER-- YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PUT THE TITLE IN UR RESUME NE WAYS, RIGHT?

if you can't answer these questions yourself you probably won't pass the extra one anyone.

Right, nobody in college cares if you took 8+ APs and got 4/5 on all of them. Thats why it baffles me why any one would want to go for AP State Scholar, having to take about 20 exams.

This makes a lot of sense. AP's don't matter as much as the title. (which is kinda sad)
i think i've decided to take macro or microeconomics independetly to go for it. because the only year it matter is junior year so you can put it on ur app..... great advice peoples

how much are ap tests? gee, sounds a bit like a money maker for the college board

Tests are $82 each. So if you took 8 of them thats $656 more for the collegeboard!

I took 13, at a cost of over $1k. Thank god the school paid for them!

Plus SATs, twice, and 3 SAT IIs - probably around $1200. College board sucks!

And they say they are non-profit! HA! That is the most ridiculous thing that collegeboard has ever claimed (the wet SAT sheets come second).
