Important BCT Dates for Class of 2012

I emailed one of the coaches that I know; he clarified it a bit, so that's good. As a freshman, I don't have to worry about too much. There is the friday football scrimmage until about 5pm. My son could sign out after that. Then, he'd have to be back the next day for student stuff. As a freshman, dressing for the game won't be known until that week. Either way, they have to be there on saturday. After the game, they are free to leave with parents. Our only thin is, we'd have to have him back on Monday by around 1-2pm for practice.

I'll have to have my son check with his AOC about going home for Saturday night until monday morning. At least it would give him 2 nights in his old bed, see a friend or two, see his sister, eat some homemade food, etc... Hopefully they won't have a problem with him coming home. If they do, we'll play it by ear. I still have the motel reserved for the entire weekend. Thx all......

Just wondering, but I saw on webguy one basic telling his gf that he would see her at Parents Weekend. Is that allowed, or is it just restricted to parents? Thanks.

A) no there's no restriction on who you can see.

B) how could they possibly enforce that?

goal23 - last year at parent's weekend was a gf wearing a t-shirt "2011 isn't that long to wait" Who comes up with that?

my parents weekend schedule: mom comes thursday evening, maybe sees me at the chapel before i gotta go to bed. friday she shadows me.. saturday, she comes to the game with me and my girlfriend and her mom fly out. after the game, we leave to go to the hotel. then we hang out and go to church sunday, shopping, havin fun, and sleeping all weekend.. and they take me back monday. mom leaves tuesday. i'm already excited for it! hahaha :)

Mom and the GF wont be able to sit with you during the football game...But you can catch up later.

Trust me, you'll probably be having a lot of fun sitting with your squadmates at the football game, so you won't be too disappointed about being unable to sit with your mom and gf. Football games are a blast if you let them be.

oh yea i love football games! :) i wasnt expecting them to sit with me tho, so at least im not disappointed!

would my girlfriend be able to shadow classes and participate in any of the friday activities on campus?

i think i've heard that anyone can shadow you (i'd bet they want teenagers and older, not younger siblings ;))

Younger siblings are welcome. Our 10-year-old had a ball in the flight simulator on Friday morning of PW last year, he loved eating at Mitch's for lunch with his big brother, and he had fun in our cadet's chemistry class, where the professor took a $50 bill from me and let our cadet burn it. There is something to do all the time on Friday. In fact, you will never be able to do everything that is offered.

well i stand corrected! sounds like it's enjoyable for just bout everyone then :)

I think you will enjoy a visit from Mom and GF and her mom. Sounds like a blast. Football in COS!!!! GO FALCONS!
