Important Blue Devil Days Question!

So I'm going to Blue Devil Days, and I got in ED. I'm going just to have fun, go out at night, and meet people because obviously I don't need to be persuaded to come to Duke, I'm already going. So, my question is if my flight doesn't get in until 2 30 so I don't get to Duke until like 3 30, how significant will it be that I missed 3 and a half hours of the program?

For anyone who went last year, what went on for the first 3 hours of BDD?

If I recall correctly, there was a lunch, an address from the president (or maybe it was admissions officer?), and some free time. you also meet up with the current freshman you’ll be staying with and go over to east campus with them, but I don’t quite remember whether that was within the first 3 hours. you’ll probably be fine, though.

No rush at all. The first couple of hours are registration and an opening speech. You will be heading over to East to meet your host around 4. As long as you get in touch with your host and let them know you will be late (they will email you when it gets closer), you will be fine. You just might want to head directly to East when you get in.
