<p>Hey guys, I'm using the Common Application to apply to colleges, but there are a few things holding me back from doing so. My visa is still in the renewal process and it doesn't seem to be moving at all. It's stuck in the RFE section and there are quite a few papers missing and my lawyer isn't tending to our phone calls or anything. Do you know what I should put down in the "Currently held United States visa" section? My visa used to be an H4 visa, but now... I don't really know what to do and it's killing my motivation. Should I put down "I do not hold a currently valid non-immigrant visa" or would that get me in trouble or something? I'm absolutely clueless... please help. Also, what would colleges do? Would they step in and try to help me out or something else? I have no idea. Thanks to anyone that helps me.</p>
