Important Deadlines for Incoming Freshmen?

I haven't really kept in the loop of deadlines for incoming freshmen. Can someone list out important deadlines that freshmen have to meet? Ex. Payment, Class registration, transcripts, ap reports, meal plans, placement exams, etc.

I have yet to go to orientation, can someone that has already gone tell me what to expect, and what was done there? Is Orientation when class registration is available? Are there counselors/advisors who tell you what classes you should take?

One last question, my parents intend to pay part of the tutition so I don't have to take out the unsubisidized loan. Where would I pay that?

Sorry for the abundance of questions, but any help is appreciated! Thank You! :)

You will register for classes at orientation after speaking with your academic advisor. The other times are spent meeting other students (and if you have a small or specific major, other students from that major program) and getting to know the campus, USC life, etc.

Tuition for fall is posted on July 22nd to the student ePay accounts on OASIS. At orientation, you or your parents can ask someone about any tuition related questions you might have.

You can sign up for the meal plan here. I suggest you do this before move in day!

A lot of these other questions can be easily found on USC’s website or on these forums. I don’t mean to be blunt, but try looking for the answers FIRST, and then come here if you’re stuck on something.
