This Year (Senior)

Which exams should I take? Thanks for your help!

On that note, as a CALS student, what good would it do me to take AP English and AP US Gov? Do they just go to elective credits or something?

For gsiddarth: I used AP English to place out of communications, but it can also be used to place out of a writing seminar (3 credits) and I used US History and Euro History to place out of social science distributions. AP US gov may also work for a social science distribution requirement. You may want to contact the CALS advising office to clarify, but I think that both of those APs will help fulfill requirements.

in engineering thee is no limit to ap credit, as far as I can tell from the table here

[Cornell Engineering : AP Credit Table](http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/student-services/academic-advising/academic-information/ap-credit/ap-credit-table.cfm)

and the info in the courses of study you would get credit for every one of the ap courses you are taking this year.

gsiddarth: heads up, there’s a cap of 30 AP credits allowed for CALS.
