Important. HEOP at Columbia

Hi everyone. I have been doing alot of research in order to better prepare myself for transfer admissions at Columbia U. I currently attend fordham university and hav a 3.45gpa, top15% of class, deans list and I work 2 jobs =38hrs a week. My high school grades werent that good but I was lucky and was admitted into Fordham HEOP program. I heard that it was easy to transfer from one HEOp program to the next. I spoke with teh director at HEOP at columbia and made myself known and also to the transfer admissions counselor at columbia. I wrote to spectacular essays one describing me personally and the second why i specifically wanted to be considered for HEOP at columbia. Now in my additional essays I did not embarass my school but provided adequate answers that did not stress the fact that columbia is prestigious which alot of students do. I wanted to remain humble. I wanted to know what my chances of trasnferring from Fordham to columbia would be?

Why do you want to transfer to Columbia?

columbia is university that has a bigger sociology program with my particular interests and there are all sorts of social research institutes that I want to be apart of. There is a wide array of majors rather tha fordham who only finds jobs for those majoring in buisness.
