Important information about your Cornell application

Have anyone else recieved this e-mail? It is saying that they are unable to make a decision on my application because not all of my materials are in. Well, the SAT II scores only come out on 28th of November, so....... WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

That's exactly what I'm wondering...maybe we should call them??

I had the same problem. Just get school to resubmit it and you should be fine. they seem to discourage calling...they look swamped this year.

Anyone know if we were supposed to send AP scores? a friend who applied told me they did today and freaked me out. So are we, or are they going to just look at the written ones on the application?

what happens if they don't get in intime!?!??!?! im scared!

Wait, the scores for SAT II only COME OUT the 28th, so I can not obviously re-submit them if I never recieved them in the first place. What, send the AP scores..................... I never did that! I was told that they were only for placement and never even considered it. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Everything is falling apart!

My daughter didn't officially submit AP scores, but she did self-report four of them on her application. She has been told that her application is complete and has been sent off to the college within Cornell that she applied to. So it doesn't look as though official AP scores are required.

What about the SAT II scores? Will they wait for them to come out on the 28th? Do I need to rush them when they are released? I took the required one, so until the scores are released, my application is "incomplete".......

mine too. I'll be rushing them the very next day that is on the 29th.

i have the same problem
i received an email saying they're missing stuff and i saw its the Nov 4 subject tests.

i wouldn't worry, they said the last date for Early decision sat is the november one, they'll keep their words

plus, collegeboard said they WILL RUSH your 28th results via 2 day priority mail specifically made for EA/ED students at no charge

"plus, collegeboard said they WILL RUSH your 28th results via 2 day priority mail specifically made for EA/ED students at no charge"

wow thats nice, they used to make you pay to rush scores

I know Cornell accepts Nov SAT II scores and not technically SAT I scores. But do you think they'll consider my Nov SAT I score if it gets there in time, the same they would for an SAT II? It's not devastating if they don't, but I think my new one will be much better than my old one. I mean, if the college board is already rushing all the reports...

All of the scores are included in the report. Your new scores will certainly be on the sheet, the question is wether they will bother updating your score in the system. I think they will.................. but I my opinion is truly insignificant.

just call the admissions office, no one of us would truly know, because they might change their policy every year

Everyone needs to relax. They will receive your scores in time so don't worry. The application status page is slow to catch up, especially this time of year. SAT II scores, in the scheme of all your other application materials, are insignificant. Official AP scores are not even necessary.

sat iis are kinda important, but yea i'm sure that they'll be there in time

This is from the e-mail:
"If there are additional requirements specified by the college to which you’ve applied, that you have not yet met, they will need to be completed as well."
----So I guess that means that SAT IIs are important and they will need to be turned in.
"Please submit the missing items within two weeks"
---- Meaning that we only have 12 days left to get the necessary stuff in.

they recieved everything from me and i thinking reviewing stuff right now and i just received an EOP THING TO FILL OUT...

What is an EOP?

but question.. is the hotel school not going to even LOOK at my app until the SAT II scores come in?

they said they received my SAT II scores only b/c I took them last June or something, but those were abominable so I retook them Nov. 4. On my app it says my app has already been forwarded to the college of my choice- are they going to still be able to look at my most recent SAT IIs?
