Important information for those accepted!!!

I know this was already said recently, but it's important to reiterate. So, if and when you get your acceptance notification you should immediately (after running around celebrating) submit your housing contract. It's completely free and non-binding and it should put you at the top of the housing list so when you later put down your housing preference, you should hopefully get it. If you ultimately don't decide on picking UCSD, no worries, like I said it's non-binding. All you have to do is fill out a really short contract and you'll be good to go. You'll get your housing preferences form about a month after you submit your SIR.

what time does it come out again?

hmmm they never told me this on the 2 phone calls that ive received…
i cant decide yet, to go UCSD or UCLA.

^In all fairness not everybody receives phone calls, so maybe that would be unfair for them to tell you. Either way, submit the contract.

Yes! Definitely do this, even if you’re not sure you’re going to UCSD.

how do you get the housing contract? or where do u find it

^Good question. Ha ha. I have no idea. Try looking around for it.

I submitted my housing contract, but they didn’t ask me any questions or anything. It was literally a two question thing. Did I do something wrong?

^Nope, that’s it. They’ll ask you for your housing preferences early June I believe.

it should be on the left tab of the myapplication.ucsd.edu page. click on housing application under tool tab

Thanks King. I got into Warren. Aren’t you going to be an RA at Warren next year?

^Yes! I could be your RA! Isn’t that exciting? I know I’m excited. :)

I’m also excited that finals are over and that I’m home. Ha ha.

I got into mech engineering but in Reville, not warren
Is that really bad and will hurt me?

im a transfer student but i just submitted my housing contract as soon as i saw i was admitted. im going to assume that submitting it early also helps for transfer students who want to live in the village? and i got into warren too! :D

I can’t find the housing application. Then again, I’m on my phone haha.

i cant find the application either :/

so, i should submit a housing contract just in case i decide to attend UCSD? i haven’t decided yet on what college to go to. i got into Sixth college and I heard the dorms are mostly three people, and only some two people dorms.

Yeah, you should. As he said, it’s non-binding.

I think I submitted it? All I Did was click a link and verified my email… That was easy.
