Example:

Non-Miissippi resident that has a ACT score of 32 or higher will receive the academic excellence scholarship equal to full tuition. A wide variety of scholarships are also available and will stack.

LSU automatic scholarships for non-residents, minimum requirements:

Golden Oaks Award:
ACT 30, SAT 1330, GPA 3.0 = exemption from full tuition and fees

Tiger Scholars:
ACT 26, SAT 1170, GPA 3.0 = exemption from 1/2 of nonresident tuition and fees
ACT 28, SAT 1250, GPA 3.0 = exemption from nonresident tuition and fees

Non-Miissippi resident that has a ACT score of 32 or higher will receive the academic excellence scholarship equal to full tuition.

That’s not exactly true. You don’t get “full tuition.” The above scholarship is for the “non-resident” portion or tuition ($7,938). You still have to pay the regular portion of tuition which is $5,106 per year.

So, the scholarship gives you the in-state rate. Not bad, but might be shocking for someone thinking that tuition would be free.

I think that Auburn only has automatic scholarships for Alabama residents.

Auburn seems to have changed their wording. They still have their auto scholarships for NMFs, but it seems that their OOS scholarships are now competitive. I wonder how “competitive” they really are or if most get them. http://www.auburn.edu/scholarship/academic-scholarships.html

If you google “guaranteed scholarships” there is a site that lists many schools and their criteria.

Also, Cleveland State has a new scholarship:
CSU Freshmen Scholars Award
Criteria: Merit award for full-time, new freshmen admitted to Cleveland State. Students must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, minimum ACT composite score 23 or 1060 SAT total score (critical reading and math combined). Recipients must attend CSU full-time. Scholarship notification letters will be mailed to newly admitted students beginning November 1 and will continue to be mailed until February 1. A separate scholarship application is not required.
Amount of Award: $3000 per year for four consecutive years (8 semesters maximum).
Renewable: Must maintain minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and satisfactorily complete at least 12 credit hours per semester (fall and spring).

Also, Bowling Green State University has automatic scholarships depending on GPA and ACT/SAT score combinations.
