Important! Major sat sunday testing question?!

So I'm supposed to be taking the SAT tomorrow at this testing centre in Miami. Two problems.

1) It says March 9th on my admission ticket. What. The heck. I even called CollegeBoard three weeks ago to make sure they knew I was taking Sunday testing. They said they did. SO WHY DOES IT SAY MARCH 9TH?!

2) When searching for a testing centre, I think I may have clicked one for March 9th. How do I know if it'll be open tomorrow morning?! I tried calling them AND CollegeBoard--no answer.

Please help?

relax. If you do end up taking the test tomorrow, you must be calm. Since it’s so late, there is not much you can do now. The best advice I can give you is to get a good night’s sleep and relax. Watch some TV. Wake up tomorrow and go to testing center. If it’s open, great. If it’s open, and they don’t have you registered, I think you can still take the test under “stand-by” registry. You will just get billed later, I believe. If you are unable to take the test, just think that the SAT Gods are telling you that you need two more months to study and should take it in May. Are you a junior?

Yes, I am a junior, and okay. Just didn’t want to take in may bc I’m taking a bunch of SATIIs and APs :frowning: But thanks so much, your right  Trying to calm  Also, I didn’t know I could take it under standby? Thought it said somewhere if you miss the test day you will not be permitted to take it, and I don’t want them thinking I missed Saturday test date… oh well. Nothing I can do now. Just going to drive an hour and a half at 6am and hope it’s open o.o

You can also take it in June, if May is not a good date. And your a junior, you can take in the fall as well.

So how was everything? Did you end up taking the test?

Wow, one and a half hours is harsh!

Drove an hour. Testing centre was closed. Called college board, they refused to take responsibility and said it was a 26$ change fee. ><

oh I’m sorry to hear that… bright side: more time to prep!
What’s done is done. God makes everything happen for a reason… Maybe you might have done badly or sth… you never know

All what you have to do now is work to make those freakin $26 worth it! Just practice like hell, and you’ll forget this even happened when you get that 2300+ (hopefully… :P)

Haha thank u, I’m hoping ur right and this results in a nice 2300+ :)
