Important: Missing Critical Parts of Your MIT Application

Hello everybody!

I've just received this email which says that Evaluation A , Evaluation B, and the transcript are missing from my application. I sent them by mail, a few days before 1 Jan. I know that they have received them, because the Application Fee in MyMIT is checked, and that was in the envelope along with the other materials.
Now, they said I must send the remaining materials by Fax or Docufide, by Monday 5pm.

QUESTION: Can I fax the documents from a public fax, or they have to be faxed from my school's fax? I'm asking because when I asked my dean to send my application from the school's fax he said that he is not allowed to send faxes abroad.

Thank you!

The documents can be sent from any fax machine.

Thank you!

Yeah Thank you from my side too … !!

Ok, so I sent the documents 6 hours ago by fax, but they still appear unchecked on myMIT. Is it normal?

If you can scan them, I would also email them and state that you have both emailed and faxed them. Do not forget they receive a lot of documents and they do not process them immediately. There are thousands pf applications and others may have missing documents too.

Thank you so much Chris for providing the extension …!!! You are like the angel above who listens to all of our wishes !!
