<p>this comes from their site...dec.15 was their deadline last year, but the shift to the common app made it more logical for them to change the deadline to jan.1</p>
<p>I think Stanford needs to improve its communication with prospective students. They can at least update their websites and notify applicants of their application status.</p>
<p>I agree. Stanford needs to update a lot of things. Different parts of the Stanford website tell you to send the fine arts supplement to different places. -_-</p>
