<p>I write for the first time. i do tag for UCSD and gonna apply at winter 10. I am planning to do all the paperwork on summer.. can u tell me when i can/should apply for scholarships and financial aid? and what's the process?</p>
<p>Second question: Is that true that when i go to UCSD, my GPA gets erased? So, during first quarter i am gonna have 0.o gpa or in works somehow differently?</p>

<p>you will start with a new ucsd gpa…but if you apply to grad schools your community college gpa does matter and you will be judged on your cumulative gpa.</p>

<p>YES…if you had a 3.1 at ccc and community college was all you went to (NO previous UCs)…when you get to UCSD you’ll have a 0.00</p>

<p>you should talk to a transfer counselor or a UC representative that visits your CC…s/he will answer all of this in the course of an hr or less</p>
