The Tufts website states that a recommendation from a teacher and a guidance counselor is required. However, there is no place on the Common Application for the guidance counselor recommendation and instead there are two spots for teacher recommendations and these two recommendations were already submitted by my counselor. I am confused as to how I can send a guidance counselor recommendation. PLEASE HELP!!!!

It should be under “FERPA Release Authorization” and above “Teacher” on your “Assign Recommenders” tab

It states this underneath the Counselor Tab : “Your school is using Naviance eDocs for transcripts, school reports, and teacher recommendations. Please contact your counselor directly and they will provide instructions specific to your school regarding these documents. If your counselor wishes to submit forms via mail, you can download printable forms that can be completed on paper and mailed to each institution to which you apply.”

There is no where that allows for my counselor to submit her recommendation form

You don’t send the GC rec, they do. They should know you’re applying and supply all the appropriate info, including their rec letter. They’ve done this a million times and know what to do.

Thank you!
I was slightly worried because on the application tracker for Tufts states that they only received the Common Application and they are missing all the other recommendations, transcript, writing supplement, etc. My GC is new and she just started last year so I was worried that everything was not sent.

Only your portion of the application is due today, everything else can come later, including rec letter.
