Hello all. I had a question for you guys, I figured you all would provide great answers. Haha. I'm considering going to college and getting my undergraduate degree in biology and I'd eventually like to go to med school. My question to you is, would it be beneficial for me to transfer to a different high school offering more AP science classes, as well as programs that will prepare you for taking college science classes, they call the programs 'Biomedical studies' or 'Pre-med?' If I was to transfer, I'd transfer to a private school offering these programs. The public schools in my area that offer IB are horrible. There is tons of gangs, drugs, shootings, ect at these high schools. I am currently going to a high school that has some AP/CP classes, but not that many at all. Would attending classes and programs such as these, at a private school, and of course make good grades, help me in the college admissions process?
