What do you guys find is most helpful for increasing one’s CR score.

FOR Sentence Completions?
- Memorizing 1000 vocabulary words
- Memorizing prefixes and suffixes along with roots etc…

FOR Passage Based?

Reading a lot and thinking critically

Taking a bunch of practice tests.

2, 3 and 4.

Whatever you do don't do number 1, I think that's actually more confusing than it's worth. 2 is much better.

If you want to know what I did, I'll tell you that I only did 4. However I'm a very good reader. I got an 800.

4 is really the best, I think. You kind of get the hang of how they ask questions and what kind of answers they're looking for. Use a book with explanations, so you can see where they're coming from.

I also memorized words, not 1000, but a lot. That helped, too. Overall, I did well on the CR section. 760.

To increase your vocab, start playing Magic the Gathering... lol
Look up unfamiliar words in the cards' names and texts.
It's kinda late to get into it now, but I've been playing it since I was a little kid, and it really helped to expand my vocab. It's easier to memorize something that you like.

well, so I guess memorizing vocab is not the way to go.
because I truly dont have a problem memorizing 20 words per day.

i just wanna get my CR from 640 to 700 by october.

Practice analyzing writing and pay attention to any words you don't recognize along the way. My best way of doing this is intensive AP english practice MCs. I had to do them for class, but my CR ended up going from 640 to 760, so it definitely works.

^ that's a very good idea.
