<p>I am applying to Stanford for early action and the deadline is Nov 1st.</p>
<p>Does this mean I can still submit my application on common app on Nov 1st? or is Oct 31st the last day?</p>

<p>I believe any time before midnight strikes is fine (on Nov 2nd).. At least I hope you can submit any time on Nov 1st.. If not, I'm screwed.</p>

<p>Deadline means deadline... But try to push click on Friday just to be extra sure...</p>
<p>i asked my GC today.. she wasn't even 100% sure. she told me to submit tonight in case anything goes wrong, which is good advice but not the answer to the question</p>

<p>I called Stanford and the deadline is 11:59 PM on Nov 1st, meaning it's ok to submit it on Saturday.</p>
<p>However, I encourage you guys call the unis you're applying to to make sure.</p>
