Important question from a junior in high school

Hey so I’m a junior in high school and I mostly want to pursue aerospace engineering in college. And so my guidance counselor told me to join a summer program that can help show what your career looks like, etc. So I tried joining Kean University’s program where it offers astrophysics. I realized that astrophysics has little to do with aerospace but I decided to apply because I wanted to do something during summer. However, I didn’t realize that stevens intsitute of technology offered specific engineering courses (although electrical is not aerospace, it’s more similar to aerospace than astrophysics is). And now, the deadline for stevens institute has passed so here’s my question: Although I want to pursue aerospace when I go to college, will me going to take an off topic subject like astrophysics for a summer program even help me with anything? I wish I joined an engineering program but now I regret it. How can I somehow relate astro physics to aerospace when I start applying to colleges in the fall?
