i am very confused about 2 things first when in the writting seciton when to use who and whom but i like know that whom is like the object but i can never tell that in their sentences i would appreciate if some1 made the difference really clear

THe next thing is that i always see like had_____something and half the time its wrong and half its not i dunno *** up with that

Who = when talking about "he" or "she" for example

==============================================

Whom = When talking about "his" or "her" or "it" or as an object (for, to, or about)

Don't know what you mean on the last one, can't read it...

Hope this helps :D

does any1 have any offhand sentence examples so i can see it in context

For whom are you voting?
It was Jessica who saved the child.
With whom are you dancing?
This is the girl to whom that impressive resume belongs.

who - subject of a verb
complement of a linking verb
whom- object of a verb
object of a preopsition

so inorder for it to be whom there must be a prep phrase

Try replacing the who or whom with he or him. If "he" works, its "who". If "him" works, it's "whom". Simple trick, but it works.
